I finally finished at least one Assassin’s Creed fan art. I really wanted to make one environmental piece, so I decided to paint Jackdaw, Edward Kenway…and of course the damaged fort. And it’s matte painting again… Anyway, I had couple of sketches till I got this concept which you can see above. More info you can check on link above. Enjoy.
This is painting which I did for illustration class… I drew Native American and I wanted to draw realistic scene/ambient… and I also tried to paint more “artistically” so this time I used Corel Painter with the Photoshop. And wow…I changed this so many times…haha. I had B&W sketch and then I painted with colors over it (in Painter). Later I finished it in Photoshop. More info you can check on link above. Enjoy.
This was painting done for ethereal-artbook (charity book, RedKite foundation). You can also purchase the book here. While I drew this piece I was inspired by music which I listen and my guitar (I also drew it…it’s Ibanez MTM2…I mixed some designs with MTM1). I also combined many techniques…from semi-realistic, realistic, matte painting… Above you can check WIPs and details. I used photo from my guitar as a ref photo (but I’m right handed, so I had to change some things on it). More info you can check on link above. Enjoy.
You can also download HD wallpaper version here.
More WIPs. These are all done digitally… first one is my OC design (here’s detail of his portrait), second is fan art of Fran from Final Fantasy XII, third one is original art and the last one is Link (Legend of Zelda) fan art. This is actually 1:1 crop from the actual painting, which is huuuuge, so here’s just Link detail. Enjoy (paintings by Valentina Remenar)
Some photos from my sketchbook…these are drawings from 2011 to the end of 2013, mostly original arts and fanarts. They are all drawn in Moleskine A5 sketchbook- Tools used (not for each one): mechanical pencil, markers, black pen, ink, colored pencils, pastels. Enjoy (drawings by Valentina Remenar)
And above you can see my 2013 progress. You can also see some WIPs inside…well, I have many wips. I was busy, so some images are still in progress. And on second image you can see some of my WIPs (I have them maaaaaany). Some are fan arts (final fantasy, assassin’s creed, Howl, Link, Tomb Raider…) and others…and most are personal arts. One is traditional painting and one is from tutorial (poses)…which is still in progress. Enjoy.
This is cover which I did for A.E. Marling's newest novel called Dream Storm Sea (you can purchase Kindle edition here and paperback edition here). I’m honoured that I got a chance to illustrate cover for him. And I had total fun to draw it. I really wanted to draw something different and theme of his book was perfect. I did it in Photoshop and I had 317 layers. I drew it 16.5 hours. More info you can find on link above. Enjoy.
